ever wonder.. that everyone around us is interconnected. be it by any chance, any reasons..
we are connected.
once, a long time ago.. my cuz told me. in this world, it is ONLY seven stages separating oneself with everyone. understand?
hmm..meaning, you may not noe this person who just bypass you on the street. but by some miraculous way, he or she IS connected to you. seven stages, tat's the maximum. this boy who i just met and think he's cute may be my mother's student's friend's girlfriend's mother's cousin's brother's son.
see?
seven stages. and you're connected.
nowadays, i see so much lots of this kinda examples that my cuz's past comment just pop out.
we're connected AND interconnected. let's take this as an example. my housemates, HooiLing and Nycol, connected of cos. because they are my housemates mar. and Zachary, my coursemate. all are new people i just know. and all three are from all over Malaysia. Zach, a local here. HooiLing, kelantan lass and Nycol, selangor ren. and suddenly yesterday, i get to know all three of them noe each other, because they are working part time together! and when i told this funny incident to mr.v, end up he know Zach and HooiLing as well. cos they are in the same group with him during orientation week. and so it happens to be Nycol's bday yesterday and we the housemates and her workmates plan a surprise for her. mr.v accompany go to the party as well. and there, Nycol's and HooiLing's friend who work there, AhCheng, know mr.v also. they happen to sit together during a briefing in orientaton week.
say til i also out of breath. haha..
you may say that's because we'r all studying in MMU, which may be true. so here's another example. a simpler one.
my coursemate, Faiz from Perak.. now, there's like no way we can be connected rite? and few days ago, he called me and asked do i noe Zul? surprisingly, i knew! we were in the same group during the YTM scholarship selection camp at Taiping. see, connected again!
look around you..think again about it and all the people you know. Earth is actually not that big as it seems.
