guess what? haha..

it's darlin mr.v's eighteenth bday today! and without saying of cos, this whole post is going to be about him. and thus, close ur window now when u still can! dun say i never warn you. haha..

i actually celebrated his birthday earlier. yeah, that's the day before 07/10. we're having PreCalculus that day at 3 p.m. the exam went on for two hours and after that FREE! haha.. due to the very very hazy weather, both of us really got no mood to study. the whole atmosphere is enveloped in grey grey ashes and one might just suffocated. and thus, just to clear up our mind a bit and relax in between exams, plus in very need of air-conditioning, we went Dataran Pahlawan and proceed to Mahkota Parade next. haha..

Dataran Pahlawan, the newly opened shopping complex in Malacca located directly opposite Mahkota Parade. (pan must had known this very well. haha..) it's sophisticated, elegant, scenic and all. but just to remind all, bring extra cash if you want to shop. and i mean extra extra extra cash. cos stuff are all branded and lavish. MNG, Adidas, Nike, Bossini, PDI, Padini Authentic, SEED, QuikSilver, esprit de corp... you name it.

i am broke. and so i dun have cash to buy anything. not as if i'd afford any with my ever so petty cash.. :(((((((((

so in conclusion, we walked back Mahkota Parade where things are just a lil' not that high-shelved priced. haha.. we planned to catch a show! cos it's been so so so damn long since i stepped into any cinemas. but too bad all the timing not suitable. so we went around window shopping and had our dinner at mcD. mr.v's treat though it's his birthday. haha.. being a guy is just so unlucky. :p

after full full liao we shop somemore. till his leg couldnt stand and we went Starbuck. oh.......i just love its drink. haha.. it's his treat again. though i must say i was supposed to be the one celebrating his bday for him. teehee. and surprise, i got him a present.

so nicely wrapped! hehe..

we huddled in the corner of Starbuck lounge where it is all cosy with soft music playing in the background. such nice setting. haha.. and it's all free! :p

mr..v was surprised i got him a present. cos i was telling him the whole evening i dunno what to buy and making him feeling sure i'd been an unthoughful darlin who never even bought him a present! haha.. i am not k... btw, this method is getting for so lame and lamer..used it on almost everyone. haha..should start thinking of new surprising ideas. surprise~ and so i ask him to guess what is it.

mr.v crackin his brain guessing what's in his hand. hehe..

and as always, he ended never guessing jiu unwrapped the present. btw, it's a belt. hehe.. only after unwrapping it did he say, "yeah..crossed my mind before that i'll give him this" hmmmmmph.. and now birthday boy is happy. :))))))))))

we talk for a long time in there. photo-whoring and stuff. and when we finally finish our mocha frappucino, we get up to go back. it's around 10 p.m by then. and there's a sign restricting ppl from getting into the lounge! it said "this area had been closed" when obviously we had been inside all along. was the Starbuck manager too good and was letting us have some privacy or was it that they just wanna close shop dy? haha... he even goodheartedly bade us goodbye when we left. such a nice man..

and it's time to go home. khaihong and jiaming tot we both disappeared dy. finish PreCal exam oso never get back home. i'm staying over for de day. yeah..again. teehee. nothing much to do so we end up watching "Ro-bin-hood". dunno exactly wat's de show name, starring Jacky Chan and Louise Koo. but damn funny movie. highly recommended! haha.. anyway, the show lasted for a very long time........

cos there's a surprise in wait in between. when it's exactly 12 a.m. tadah.....

"Happy Birthday!"

all his housemates are lying ambush waiting for him. i noe lil' about their plan as well. just guessed they might be up to something. and it's really such a nice surprise. they knocked on his door. we paused our show and open the door. there they are all singing birthday song with a small cupcake and a candle. so happie. i oso feel very happie. dunno why.. hehe.. to have friends surrounding you on ur birthday is such a nice nice feeling. all the cheerful smile and laughters. oh, and mr.v's face. haha.. something you would never had thought possible when he was a beepee last time. and thus really vy sorry to pan cos never made it back. :(

hmm..back to topic. and after all the surprises which i dun have any photos with..so sorry, we had family-phototaking. haha.. though i am not actually included in THEIR family but still, am counted as one. photos mar..i dun have either. will post it somedays. :)

and when everything calmed down and we both finally finished the movie, it's already around 2 a.m. something. i am tired man..... having late nights for three days in a row is too much to bear. i slept. i woke up at 12 noon ate lunch, and doze off again while revising Physics. and woke uo again at 4 p.m smthg. and at 6 p.m. smtg, we went for steamboat feast! it's a buffet style buffet.

all you can eat for just RM 15.80 per head. not that it's very cheap either.

but how we eat.. imagine, altogether eight person, consumed a few hundred of a variety of balls (not THAT ball, fishball, sotongball, meatball, big medium small, with filling's and without), seafood (sotong, prawns, fish), fishcakes, meat, etc, etc.. from approximately 6.30 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. haha......

it's not just food, drinks and fruits and ice-cream are included in RM 15.80 as well. the ice-cream.. hmm..let the picture tell it's tale.

the mountainous pile of ice-cream wrappers. and the sticks. when we counted for the last time before we left, we got around thirty-something sticks.

as jiaming said: we acted as if we never tasted ice-creams for the past 20years.
but as leekee said: we never gonna dare to touch any ice-creams for next 20years.

hahahaha..

i myself ate four! just right after that big feast of steamboat.

hmm, something special about Malacca's steamboat. it's not all about boiling everything in water. there's a space around the pot for grilling purpose. and butter are provided as well. so it's something like barbeque also. and for every 100g of leftover, you're gonna be charged RM 5.oo. so better only take what you can eat. or else will ended up like us stuffing everything down or hiding all the leftovers here and there. haha..

while everyone is half digesting and half hibernating, the moon is shinning so brightly. only a bit odd cos it's orange in colour. all due to haze..................
